Our new designs dramatically reduce clients’ capital costs and operating costs, and improve plant efficiencies up to 98 percent. In addition to reducing costs, the time to build a Taggart-designed plant is dramatically less than traditional designs. With Taggart’s new design concepts, schedules for construction and commission are typically only 6 to 7 months.
Since 1993 Taggart has built over 60 greenfield coal preparation plants and associated material handling systems worldwide, with aggregate processing capacity of nearly 300 million tons of raw coal annually. Plant capacities range from 200-2800 TPH. Of all the new greenfield facilities constructed in the United States between 2004-2008, over 60 percent were built by Taggart.
Our proprietary modular design works to reduce the overall size of a new plant, and the energy required to power its equipment. Taggart’s smaller design footprint enables a single overhead crane to access all plant equipment, which in turn reduces maintenance costs.
