Import Coal Blending
Taggart provided turnkey design and construction of an import coal handling system for an East Coast, U.S. utility. The 1,750 TPH facility includes a new crushing and screening system, coal blending with new on-line analyzers, ocean barge unloading and FGD product lines handling, storage, and loadout. The project was completed in 2008.
Ocean Barge Unloading & Loading System
This turnkey project for South Carolina Electric & Gas included the design and construction of four new conveyors, four transfer structures, 100’ stacking tube, a new 50 Ton load out bin, magnet structure, dust suppression system, wash down, and fire suppression systems. The project was completed in 2007.
River Terminal
Taggart designed, constructed and commissioned the Kanawha River Terminal for Electric Fuels Corporation in 2000. The coal storage, blending, reclaim and load out facilities feature 100,000 tons of storage, 1,175 ft. reversible conveyor, barge loading systems, 4,400 TPH conveying system, six stacking tubes, five transfer conveyors, six reclaim feeders, reclaim tunnel and reclaim conveyor.
